Received the same e-mail today, i.e £20 of return flight this summer,
They are very good at sending out offers when it suits them, just not
so good with any other communication.

With FTC you turn up or you cancel and lose all your money. No communication needed  ;)

I spent nearly a day trying to book a flight with FTC for Saturday 7th April.

I was using the desktop Pc, telephone and using the internet on my mobile! I finally got through today around 10.30am and have now booked my flight, and it was cheaper!  :D

Did you get your flight booked?

on Mondays flight there was a pregnant woman with a toddler.
just before take off she had to get off the plane because she was 35 weeks pregnant.
Apparently regulations are generally 36 weeks, but Thomas Cook ruling is 34 weeks.
I appreciate rules are rules but they were both in tears and of course held everyone up and must have been very humiliating for them, and her big worry was getting back from Dalaman.
Just don't understand how they hadn't picked it up before they got on the plane.
The pilot made an announcement explaining the rules, but we felt so sorry for them being escorted off in tears.

Alibally, yes, got sorted thank god.  But, no thanks to any of their customer relations email addresses or telephone contact numbers (which I have incidentally wasted pounds on!) In the end, it was through sheer luck of finding their facebook site. Lots of disgruntled customer were ranting on facebook, so I added my rants too.....somebody from FTC by the name of Deborah Klassen had offered her email to another client for them to contact her, and I noted that she had sorted out their problem. So I then emailed her too! She got back to me, and at 4.55pm on Thursday evening, I received a telephone call - offering to book my flights over the phone. But even then, I had to do battle with the advisor, as the flights had gone up by £30 each (there are four of us travelling..) and he had to go to his Manager, have a very lengthy conversation - before he agreed to give me the flights at the price I had booked them for the previous day, when THEIR system had crashed!! what a joke......shoddy for such a big company..Anyway, the joy is, we are now flying Man - Dalaman next saturday! After a very painful and stressful 24 hours. The only thing I find odd, is that there is no longer an option to print tickets? Alibally, do you have tickets or just an itinerary to show at the airport??  Im not sure if I am able to print Deborah Klassens email address on here, but will do if I am allowed, as she was really really helpful and professional, and seems to be the only person willing or able to help.....!!!

I didn't get tickets either, just the itinerary for the airport.    It says in my FTC email that you can print your boarding pass when you have checked in online so looks like you don't get tickets any more.  Easyjet have a ticketless system so FTC must be the same.

I'll probaby see you at Manchester, I think we're on the same flight as you :D

Ive had an email back from preadmintravel.ftc.com and they said just to print ininerary and tickets are issued at check in, or, just print off boarding passes online. Alibally have you printed off your boarding passes yet? As my understanding is that you have to purchase your seats in order to print your boarding passes, and I have no intention of paying anything else now. (Im doing this on the cheap, not even taking cases on this one, just the 5kg of hand luggage each!)  Yes, we are on your flight....my two very excitable daughters will probably give us away at Terminal 2! :))))  Where are you heading from Dalaman??

Sue, if you flying from Manchester with Thomas Cook, you'll need to be in terminal 1 not 2  :o
