API Jet2.
« on: March 30, 2012, 15:31:16 PM »
I have flights for June and September this year Glasgow/Dalaman and I decided to add my API to my booking early. Far too hot to go outside in Lanarkshire at the moment.
I clicked on 'Add passport information'then 'Enter Travel Document Information' filled in the passport details then clicked on 'Save and Continue'.
This took me back to my booking confirmation but no indication of whether or not the passport details were recorded.
No confirming e mail either.
As an Aegean Flights displaced person I was used to the API being recorded and acknowledged.
Can anyone with previous experience of Jet2 put my mind at rest. Is my experience the usual or should I have received confirmation in some form?
Jet2's conditions for suppling API on line is from time of booking until 5 hours before the flight time.

I can't remember but what if you try to enter them again.   I definitely did not get an email

Heather,
I tried three times with the same result each time.
Probably OK but I like confirmation in some form.
I telephoned their help line but eventually gave up after being held for around 15 minutes.

If memory serves me correctly it shouldve saved it and when you click on my booking it should show that the API info is completed- you dont get an email to confirm.

Finally worked it out.
When API information is submitted,if it is accepted,a small reproduction of the photograph page of a passport with a green tick mark through it appears to the left of the passenger's name on the flight summary.
