Escape Beach Club

For those that know that end of the beach in Koca Calis, this was formerly The Suncamp. We have just been down there and it is looking lovely although the manager, Murat is still distraught that the Bond crew came and smashed down the beach bar, apparently it's now on a rubbish tip. He told us that the Mayor had ordered its destruction fearing it would interfere with the carettas.

Anyway, its a lovely spot, beautiful gardens and an AstroTurf section just before the beac is great to relax on, new menus are at the printers so will report back once we have had a meal there. If you need contact details for Murat it's  0532 244 1793

Totally agree with you.  This a great place to relax, food is excellent.  Murat's Turkish breakfast is wonderful - I just can't get enough of the doughnuts.   We have been going there since he took over in the winter and he and his business partner have transformed the place.

Claire and Birol are partners with Murat now Jim.  We had a very pleasant lunch with Birol there at the beginning of the month.

Birol is just the same as ever Jim, works too hard! The day we met him to go to the beach club he had just come from a press conference for his latest book (his third) and he signed two for our girls - which they absolutely treasure, fancy knowing a published author! Claire is also great, she never stops smiling.

Is this part of the beach past the Surf Cafe. It sounds lovely ,but not sure of the location. Can it be walked via the beach (during the day),dolmus or taxi ?

Dolmus to Sun Cafe and 100 yards or so to walk.
It can be reached by walking along the beach, too.
