The pick up and collection went very well at Kargi with the two males going in the trailor and the little girl going in the pick up and driven by Enver the restaurant owner.
The journey to Nif was excellent with no problems.
We then unloaded the donkeys and led them to to their new stable :D, fresh hay and a nice straw bed :D, they will spend their first night here whilst settling down and in the morning they will be taken to the fields and introduced to Dinky :D and the rest of the gang.

They have really fallen on their feet here it is a beautiful place and great surroundings :D they are in the care of new owners Sandy and John who will give them all the love and attention they need :D

just had an update from Sandy.............all going very well, all bathed and wormed today....willow went out with Dinky today and was trotting around and braying...very sweet. Both boys have lovely natures and didn't mind anything. They are going out on the top together tomorrow so that they can see dinky over the fence. Will send photos tomorrow.

Thank you so much Sandy and John and also a big thank you to Enver for all his help and co operation with us  :)

We will be holding an fundraising open day sometime in July, there should be some newborn lambs then :D, will keep you posted about a date, please let me know if you would be interested in a lovely afternoon out.

Well done to all those involved in the move.  I am extremely upset because Brian, our donkey, went to Kargi only a few months ago and this was only due to the excessive flooding in Kayakoy.  Parting with him hurt, but I truly believed he was going to a better life and good home with other donkeys, which obviously was not to be the case.  My good friend and I are very much into animal welfare and would be interested to voluntarily participate in helping your organisation with the good work they are doing.

Hi Tinkerman

It's hard to tell from the photo whether it is Brian but he is black in colour with a white band across his nose.  I have enclosed two photos of him.  He did know his name very well and answered to it.  He is a real character.  Myself and friends are planning a visit to Nif so we will know for sure.  If it is not Brian, where has he gone?  We are very concerned.
