Can we name and shame these corrupt places,I am going there in August and do not want to be ripped off and seen as an easy target!

As suggested earlier - you can avoid them by sticking to the ones recommended in this topic. Many rip off's are highlighted on CBF if you want to search for them. I am all for telling it as it is, warts and all, but this should be a pat on the back for the honest ones, of which there are many and far outweigh the crooks. Another important thing to bear in mind is that staff and owners change, so a rip off story from 2 years ago may be very unfair on the current management.

The Bahce of course, goes without saying.  Georges, who last year when we bid for the dinner for two at the Charity Auction, took the voucher from us.  It was for a two course meal and two drinks.  We said we would pay any extra.  We had the meal plus more drinks than where on the voucher, but they would not accept any extra from us.

We had a meal with a voucher that we bought at The Auction it was for 6 people. starter and main course no drinks. They gave us a bottle of wine, free salad and bread and 2 large bottles of water and fruit deserts and coffees.  Good service and a nice new boss.

Apologies if this post has now gone on twice - we are just getting used to the new system and have only just managed to log on - many thanks Keith.   

We went to the meeting point several times in June, on our first visit we asked for the bill and we were given a box containing someone's change in it !  We thanked Ahmet very much for paying us to eat in his restaurant and eventually paid out bill.   We do always check our bill but we agree there is never a problem with the Meeting point, likewise Bella Mama.
To be honest we have not experienced any trouble with wrong bills, but we do restrict ourselves to a favourite few restaurants.

The Mango for us  as first choice,  plus obens, georges, nill bar,  sunset.
we used them recently with no problem with the bills plus we had free coffees in all except the nill bar

Loz & I won a voucher for a meal for 2 at Bamboo in May. We went with Max (Red Devil,), & his lovely wife, Sheila. We had a fantastic 3 course meal, when we asked for the bill, we found out that ALL of the drinks that Loz & I had were included in the voucher. The owner was even upset that we would not accept bottles of wine with our meals, FREE !!
