Sat beach
« on: August 31, 2012, 10:31:50 AM »
We walked up to the Sat restaurant and beach in June and thought how nice it looked.   Do you pay for the beach beds or are they free, assuming you will spend money at the bar or in the restaurant ?

They started charging per head at the end of May even if you purchased food & Drinks!  They might have 'reconsidered' that decision now?

Hi Lance  :)  I'd been there several times 'no-charge' (we drank  ;) & had lunch), this particular day the waiter asked for 10tl per person!  I spoke with the manager who confirmed "new rules from above"  I  just took my business somewhere more appreciative  :P

Don't know how you judge the cleanliness of a place, personally I wouldn't give the loo (ladies) a top score!  Prices for items ordered needed to be checked, prices didn't tally with the menu prices! & the total of the bill didn't tally = no tip  :)

Maybe they thought we 'women of a certain age' would be too bowled over their charms to notice! or care! wrong, lol

We went 2 days ago. Spent 100tl in restaurant and asked. They said beach is different to restaurant.
We went down to beach and after 30 mins got charged 5tl per bed.

Its the biggest rip off place in calis and fethiye, 8 lira for an effes, and the food is not up to standard. have,nt found anywhere in fethiye that charges 8 lira for a beer, and the food is nothing  compared to somewhere like mozaik bahce, take note, calis is dying faster than people realize. :(

We were there May/June.  As soon as June 1st appeared we were charged for the beds and shades.  Such a shame as we were happy to pay more for the food and drinks in exchange for the sunbeds.  Don't know if the cushions etc. on the grass area were charged for though as they seemed to belong to the Sat. :o
