I still get the giggles when I think of  those times  where you really, really need to laugh out loud when you can't - having to screw your lips up in your hands to stop yourself !!!
We had a maths teacher with a rather large derriere who insisted on wearing tight crimplene skirts - she was a real nasty piece and one day whilst bending over to help a pupil, another drew a face in black felt tip on her bright pink skirted ass.......a wicked thing to do but we honestly choked with laughter it was so awful but hilarious!

Our gym teacher had the sole of a plimsole which had the shape of a star cut out of it. When you got that on your behind you definitely did see stars!! Oh the good ole days.

Playing in the street, skipping with two big girls holding the rope ends, making a swing round the lamp post, British Bulldog, Midget Gems, Flying Saucers, Coltsfoot Rock, Merrymaids, Aniseed Balls, Victory V lozenges, Pineapple Chunks, Acid Drops, halfpenny sticks of liquorice and a bag of sherbet, Black Bullits,  dandelion and burdock, sarsaparilla, cream soda, ginger beer plants, my nana's baking days on Wednesday (pies all kinds) and Sunday stotty cakes bread, (all to give away too) Phew! Nostalgia!
