ive just called mom (its her apartment we are going to) she said exactly the same - she always changes her money in turkey, we have just changed £100 in there as it was at 2.84 and if we take 1000 they will give us even better rate

2.84 is better than ANY of the big forex and High Street companies today: http://www.money.co.uk/travel-money/turkish-lira-exchange-rate.htm

Who is it you changed with?
