Kia's operation went well today, no problems, she is sleeping it off now and we will know more in the next couple of days, meanwhile jasper is now back at our house

Have you thought of contacting the Public Relations Department of the Airline (presume Thomas Cook) and telling them the dogs story in the hope that they may fly them to the UK for a reduced fare of even for free?   A good bit of PR for the airline.

Good idea. Surely there must be someone at one of these airlines that has a heart. Alternatively it may be worthwhile contacting Take A Break with their story. Once they publish then the national papers will get hold of the story and may help. It could also help other needy dogs or cats there also. If you need a contact let me know I still have the details of the lady who published my story.

YOU HAVE DONE IT

This afternoon, 8 days after starting the appeal, an anonymous donation of £1000 has taken us to the amount we need to send Kia and Jasper to their new homes in the UK. Thanks to everybody that has helped in whatever way. In 4 months, all being well they will be frolicking in the UK. A VERY BIG THANK YOU from the Animal Aid Team.
