You might not want to hear this if you are suffering all the bad weather in the UK, but the weather today in Calis has been fantastic.   Bright and very sunny, with the temperatures in the sun reaching almost 70, without a cloud in the sky.  And with the day being so bright and clear, the views over the hills and snow covered mountains are nothing less than stunning.

Mrs Tickets and myself walked down to Boxers exercise class at the Haan Hotel, and it was such a joy to be outside in the sun, that we didn't even feel the usual pain and effort of undertaking exercise ... and my mate Mick agrees too  

So sorry if you are suffering with the snow and cold in the UK, but things here have been marvelous.        ;

Actually I'm really happy to read this for two reasons.  Firstly I find that it makes me smile to think of it as being warm and sunny over there and I can live vicariously through you and this message, so thank you for that.  Secondly, and more importantly, do I remember correctly that this is your first winter living in Calis?  I think I can remember reading posts from you last year about moving there and asking various questions.  If I'm right then that's fantastic and I'm really happy that you're having a wonderful first winter there. 

Do wish we could be there too mind you...
