I've had sneezes that measure more than that :D

And did you get any aftershocks from those sneezes?   8)

Sneezes wasn't the bodily function I first thought of when I went to reply  :)

I know what you're saying about the distance BUT it is widely written about on the Corfu Grapevine and apparently they had some more tremors today.  I was very surprised that it hadn't been reported in the news in the UK but it WAS reported on the Greek news.
I don't take pleasure in making up stories just to be put down by some members of the forum who think they know EVERYTHING. As for the reference that my friend 'drinks', I may add that she is not one of the Calis bevvy heads to whom drink is a necessity as is gossip.

I seem to have a glut of grapefruit this year- usually there aren't many but have just been out and they look really good. They are the yellow ones sadly, not the lovely sweet pink, but if anyone would like to come and help themselves they are most welcome- just message me first so I know you are coming

I had NO idea they visited Corfu, although I feel like a bit of an intruder on this site as I don't live in Corfu (sadly!) I love all these things that I find out from all of you with experience of living there.

Have two (2 adults) Easy Jet direct flights from Thessaloniki to Gatwick available for name change return to UK 8th Feb & then fly back to Thess on 24th Feb. If you keep those dates & deistinations I am sure its just 42€ per name change per flight. Much cheaper than what they are now. I need to see 100€ total on top of that for what we paid. Nelly Grenon Yes, Mari Ljunggren-sofianou, they always give primary date, then revise it more precisely as time goes and they have time to analyze the graphs. I'm sure if we keep checking throughout the day, it will change again

Aleko Damaskinos, I rarely feel anything below 5, and it does take close to a 6 to wake me up  but I've lived through so many quakes in my life, they've become the routine. I only experienced 2 very big ones, but did not panic. I actually find earthquakes exhilarating, call me nuts

Nelly Grenon Actually, when there is an earthquake, rushing outside is the last thing you want to do. That's when you risk being hurt by falling debris. The best is to find cover, as close as possible from where you are, either under a heavy table, or best in a door frame, and away from glass windows.
