We stayed at the Grand Vizion (the one at the far end of the prom) in 2010 I think.

Was in need of attention then especially around the pool area. Room was fine - clean and tidy with decent storage space if I remember. But if you get one at the "back" you will seldom see the sun and the balconies are very small.

Turkish breakfast not the greatest.

Mostly Turkish staff who did not speak much English (not a criticism).

Mostly German and Turkish guests.

Hope this helps.

thanks Highlander, the rooms we had in the Dolphin last year were not anything to write home about to be honest, but we love where it is, and breakfast by the sea every morning was such a treat!,

Three years ago we booked the Morning Star in Ovacik, arrived at 05.30 and the place was locked up.
Waited 90 minutes and a member of staff turned up and denied that we had a booking !!!!
However, they gave us a room until it could be sorted (free of charge)
The following morning we found out that Lowcostholidays had changed our hotel without telling us or our transfer company  >:(
The hotel manager loaded our bags into his 4X4 and took us to the Balkaya - AWFUL PLACE !!!!
Tried to get a refund on return but they wouldn't budge.

No problem with Sunshine.  It's just that the Dolphin has been 'sold'.  I daresay the new owner will nominate a company to advertise the hotel. Who knows, they may use Sunshine.  I spoke to Mehmet last night.  It's to be hoped that the new owners are as hospitable as Mehmet.
we really enjoyed our stays at dolphin beach, Mehmet always helpful and love Serhats cooking

The Balkaya was truly awful, one of the very few holidays I have been glad to go home from, but I have to say it was the people rather than the place that were so bad, every day was like an episode of Eastenders

Stuart1955  I'm sure that there will be a lot of people in your position, having paid deposits.  Ring Mehmet and ask him what the situation is.  If you have his card then his UK number is on it.
Others:  The Lagoon is back with the original owner and looks good and the Berk also has improved comments fr anyone wanting accommodation on the front.
