Given the Turkish approach to innovation, there will be another Fun Pub opened next door to this one.

If it turns out to be a success you can look forward to a promenade of fun pubs :D

I have no problem with the term "fun pub". The problem I have with them is that clowns faces and balloons drawn on the chalkboard do not a fun pub make.

I must say that anything that makes one prom establishment different to the rest has to be worth a try. I could list at least 6 that are almost identical both in look and menu and that is not good.

At least it may be somewhere you can go for just a pint without having to eat or be amongst diners

I'd be interested in what members imagine the proprietors have in mind to make this establishment "fun"

I've just had a flashback :o

For those that remember it - wasn't the Far British Corner actually the "Far British Corner Fun Pub"?

I think it was and it was not really any more fun than anywhere else. It was even a little scary at times, like when they staff would do their special dance routine at the end of the evening - even if you were just one of three people in there and there were more dancers than customers.
