Gosh I am shocked to read that Keith, we have all only been expressing our opinions with a little bit of banter chucked in as well, indeed Stoop's post made me laugh about getting all us miserable s**s into a fun pub...
And as I believe someone else said it has generated 16 odd pages for this new venue dont think any of us have been nasty or malicious with our postings.....

Try "some people say its time for the forum to go. p1ss me off and i will make it so."

I do think he isn't doing the "Fun pub" any favours. Still, if we disappear, at least you'll know why.

Well that's a sensible bit of marketing for a new venture.
Why didn't the said person come and join the banter instead, could have gained lots of support instead of encouraging a boycott...foolish  :o

I earlier wished the owners well, as I do with all new businesses in Calis.

Sadly I must report that this topic has resulted in clear and direct threats to have CBF hacked and closed down. Specifically (amongst other threats) from one person "'time I closed this **** forum".

Will members please bear this in mind when choosing where to spend their hard earned lira. One thing this certainly isn't, is fun.

Are you saying that the restaurant had something to do with this?

What this person does not realise is, we are all speaking about the place, having a bit of fun and I for one was looking forward to trying it... Seventeen pages of publicity, just what would you pay for that??
As the old saying goes, any publicity is good publicity...

I am saying that specifically due to the presence of this topic, threats to hack and destroy CBF have been made.

I can't imagine how I can make it any clearer Martin, I hope that is sufficient.

You're not making it clear at all. The way you worded your previous post makes it appear that the restaurant had something to do with the threat to hack CBF which would be a serious allegation. Another poster seems to think that as well by mentioning boycotting the restaurant.

Me too Scunner, but don't worry, we all understand, well 99% of us anyway.  ;)
