High Winds expected Friday 15th

Normal weather for March?  Warm Scirocco winds, the first time we noticed it 2003 and we said to a local "strange warm windy weather"  he replied Dreprem coming!!!!    it never did.

Just checked Shaka again and its a bit breezy but a couple having a smoke outside don't look at all windswept. They're  clearly expecting something because all the chairs etc were taken in late afternoon.

Just driven back from Calis to Ciftlik temp 26 degrees and rising, lights flickering.

Eerily warm here in Gunlukbasi. temperature 23c but the pressure has dropped from 1010mb to 998mb. A big drop which heralds a lot of wind. However, I have been on 4 forecast sites and none of them mentions severe weather, even Poseidon System which gives an animation for the next 5 days shows very little, in fact it shows that Saturday is going to be the wettest day. Weather forecasting is not an exact science.

Turkish Airlines have just posted on Facebook that due to high winds in Istanbul, some flights may be delayed or cancelled.
