Calis Car boot sale - please read

Thought I had better post this on the main thread as the 3C's are still getting a lot of enquiries about the date of this months Calis Car Boot Sale and there appears to be some confusion.   

The date of the sale is SUNDAY 24 MARCH and not this Sunday 17 March as many people seem to think.  The reason for this is that this year there are five Sundays in March and the car boot sale always takes place on the penultimate Sunday,  hence this months sale is on the 24th.

If you turn up this Sunday we won't be there!!

Didn't you just know it would happen? Several Turkish stallholders turned up on Sunday, even though there were no banners up and the car park was not taped off, as is usual .......... and despite there being posters in both Turkish and English at the entrance giving the date of the next sale.

Fortunatly Pete and I were not in Turkey for this one but we really felt sorry for Dizzy Jan who received phone calls at 5.30am in the morning asking why the committee weren't there and why no tables had been delivered.............................................   :

To repeat, the next 3C's Calis Car Boot is this Sunday - 24 March

Just a reminder that it is the Calis Car Boot Sale tomorrow (Sunday) and the weather is looking good     This is the penultimate car boot of the season.  The last Calis Car Boot is on 21 April.  The 3C's charity shop at Eyna Restaurant on Calis promenade is  also open tomorrow from 10.00 until 2.00 and we have lots of our new Spring/Summer season stock for sale.
