Ditto, in British racing green, GEN 722. First year after split windscreen. I meant Morris 1000 not 1100, must have had too many ciders  ;D

white cortina reg E00726B. a few years later he bought an anglia estate it was turquoise with a yellow wing and a brown door and cost the princely sum of £50 ;D

The windscreen wash was a pump under the dashboard Dad fitted himself.

This van replaced our Velocette and homemade sidecar when I was about 6.

Then it went downhill when he got a Comma Cob van, Never liked that thing and looking at Google Images, I can see why.

My dad's first car was this one



iIt's a Wolsley 1500 . His reg plate was LSN 485 which would fetch a lot of money in today's private reg market

Not sure what my dad's first car was but he had these 2 after a Ford Anglia that I remember.





The blue one I think is a Ford Zephyr and the one below is Wolsley
