Which was a lot smarter than my first car. So is the one in the photo - mine had rubber front wings.

Hillman minx and a Morris eight I think Colwyn, my father had one of these VOW997 amazing how we remember these number plates from 50 years ago :D

But MY first car (in 1971) was a Wolsley 1500
(number plate YMR444 - would be worth a fortune now !)
Cost me the princely sum of £32 - knocked down from £35  :D
Spent double that filling up yesterday !!!!!

I swapped my BSA Bantam for mine

Known as suicide doors ! I have them on my Rover 110 but only for the rear passengers.

I went Bantam, Triumph Tiger 90, Wolseley 1500 and then a Mini with fibreglass front
(p.s. remember to do up the bonnet catches before testing the brakes after repair - OUCH !!!!)
