Would have loved to see hs face if you had said it! Ireland is unique, they have the only Customes Officials in the World who were immaculate conceptions -- never had fathers  

My favourite one of those was Sir Roger Hollis (rumoured to be the 5th man of the Cambridge spies)
on entering Australia was asked if he had any criminal convictions replied "I am awfully sorry, I had no idea it was still necessary"

I have a face people like to stop - my wife goes mad that I won't sneak an extra bottle from duty free but I know if one person from the whole flight gets pulled, it will be me!

My greatest feat to date must be at Abu Dhabi airport, where I was pulled over and my bags searched, then afterwards I had walked 10 yards and got pulled in by another guy! Not many people get searched twice at the same arrival...
