Two weeks ago we waited around 2 minutes to get our Visa stamp at Dalaman. I can't see the advantage of paying £13.22. For a family of 4 that's nearly £13 more. Even if a few flights arrive together I'd still be happy to queue  :)

Hmm! Save time at the visa counter so you can spend more time waiting at baggage reclaim!

...and no doubt you have to put your passport details into yet another third party domain. Can we trust them to look after them?

Exactly my thoughts. I arrived back at Dalaman yesterday &, having residency, didn't have to queue for a visa. I was the first person from the flight into baggage reclaim & virtually the last out, so can't see any advantage

You can now pay £5 to have your luggage off first.

I have copied this from the ex-pat page, not sure if this person is a member or not(please accept apology if you are a member)
.
It would appear the online visa is not such a good idea, just another way to make money.

Having sent my friends the link to purchase on-line visas before they travelled to Turkey they were somewhat surprised when, they arrived at Dalaman today, to be told that they were not valid or recognised. You pay two pounds more for the convenience of purchasing your Visa on Line and then have the pleasure of coughing up a further ten pounds at Dalaman for what they call a "legitimate Visa. Good old Turkey, you have to laugh......

Hi Loz, yes I am a member of this forum. When my friends arrived in Dalaman today and argued with the guy on Passport Control about their on line Visas not being accepted, the head honcho was called who reiterated that the Visas were not recognized. They were then marched round to buy their "correct Visas". To add insult to injury their suitcase was lost too!
