We are off to calis on Thursday, I don't have any worries about being there at all.  The people we know and love who live there, are looking forward to our arrival.  As has already been said, Turkey is a big place, and the people we know haven't suddenly turned into rioters, and looters!!  Not more than 20 miles away from where I live there have been 10 stabbings recently, but it doesn't mean my quiet town is in any danger.

Won't worry me  at all. It's a bit like saying,  would I  cancel my holiday in Cornwall if there were riots in Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester!

I travelled to Dalaman with Turkish Airlines via Istanbul literally a couple of days after the 2003 bombings. It wasn't the busiest flight I'd ever been on. In Calis life was no different - with the exception of people coming up to me to apologise for the events of a few days earlier.

Things are going from bad to worse - the BBC have sent Jeremy Bowen to report on the situation.

Let's hope we don't see Kate Adie anytime soon.   ;)
