Without sounding to worried,  there is lots of unrest at the moment in Turkey, should we be concerned about travelling to chalis at the end of the month, ?

Well I go out on Saturday,I am not in the least bit worried,would not go to Ankara or Istanbul,but Calis no problems.

No problems in this area at all.  Just avoid Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara at the moment.

If I were returning to Istanbul this weekend I wouldn't be concerned.
I would just avoid the Taksim area, which I'm not keen on anyway.

It's interesting though, that will be a question for many , particularly people going for the first time. Someone at work who has been twice to fethiye said today that they wouldn't be going given the situation! Yet another hit for tourism and as a consequence for the working man!

Oops H, apologies for the error,  i have every Intention of going but if every one started jumping up and down telling me not to go because it's unsafe then I would need to reconsider, but as it stands we will be seeing CALIS at the end of June,  a day can't wait:0'

Well, I'm leaving in the morning for the long trek back to UKistan but I'd much rather be staying here despite the 'problems'.
