Crossing the "new" bridge a while back I noticed these 2 rather unique signs on either end...

As you mentioned the dolphin round about, I drove that way this morning and noticed that they have completely  dug up the whole crossing . All the islands have gone I wonder what other silly idea they will put there. Who knows the dolphins might be back. ???

Well as the traffic lights are gone as well, getting across the road is a bit of a challenge to say the least!
