The Sad Loss of Barry, Half of CBF's Noebar
« on: June 24, 2013, 15:22:07 PM »
Very sorry to read the news that Barry McCarter has passed away. Barry and wife Noe made up the CBF couple noebar, members for many years. He had many friends who are CBF members and was well known especially in and around Koca Calis where they lived.

A lovely guy, my deepest regards and sympathy go to Noe and all family and friends mourning the loss of Barry.

So sorry Noe to have learned of Barry's passing. We had some good times together....some great laughs, so now he and John will meet up again . Look after yourself Noe, and will be thinking of you.

Ciftlik will not be the same without Barry.  Noe and Barry always made us very welcome when we visited.
However, it was a lovely service and the view that Barry has now out over Fethiye Bay and the Islands can not be beaten.
Condolences to Noe and Andrew and their friends in the village and Calis.
xx

Peter and I were with him and Noe a couple of days before he died. He was on great form and he looked and sounded fine so it was a great shock when Pompeylil told us the news. Bless her, she flew over just for a couple of days so that she could be at the funeral. What a friend.

Courage Noe. We're thinking of you.

Lots of love, Sue & Peter  xxx

So very sad to hear about Barry.  He and Noe were the first friends we made in calis over eight years ago.  We had a meal with them just a few weeks before he passed.  Still cannot believe it.  He was such a lovely lovely man.  We enjoyed his company so much.  Rest in Peace Barry x
