With all of the problems that established British entertainers are having in Calis and the surrounding resorts, I wonder if you have taken the, now, very necessary steps to make certain that ; 1. The organisers have the correct, legal paperwork required to stage such an event, 2. That EVERY INDIVIDUAL MEMBER of ANY foreign, i.e. NON- Turkish, band has a permit to work in Turkey, which, at this moment in time, is nigh on impossible to obtain. If you search recent posts re. entertainers in Calis/Fethiye, you will be able to realise where I am coming from. Still wish you all the best.

We may be interested in this as we love live bands/music.  Many retro memories of music fests, the awesome Isle of Wight Festival 1969 with Bob Dylan has to be at the top  :)  Our family is over and they also like mini music fests. We shall certainly discuss it and put it as a possible, on our "list of place's and things do list" After 8yrs living here, delight in something a bit different.  ;) Now if you can get ole Bob, Jagger  or Rod will do, it will be a 100% definite lol along with thousands more lol ;D

We'll be in Fethiye during this festival.

Are we able to come along for just one of the days? Rather than camping overnight.

Mercury, I have gone to great lengths to attempt to explain to this chap what has been happening in Turkey with regards to entertainers & licences. He is still adamant that he has all in place. Reckons because the "artistes" are not doing for money, apart from expenses, that it will be ok. I hope it DOES go ahead, because then, other artistes can hold it up as a precedent.

I don't think that whether or not they are getting paid for their contributions is relevant?

I do hope this works for you lordwizlon and I would be very interested to hear how it all pans out being in the live music industry myself.
