Day 1 of 30

Ridiculously I can't stop thinking about alcohol. I have a month without it and am missing it already - even though I wouldn't have had a drink on a Monday anyway! I was missing it at 10am, why!!!

You must miss things you know you can't have, even if you wouldn't be having them if you could

Tell anyone they absolutely can't have something and it makes it far more attractive ........ 

You'll be fine. You may even find that you don't want to drink as much when the month is over. I said 'may'.

You'll notice I made it a 30 day month rather than 31. I forgot about February though.

Just think positively about how wonderful you will feel at the end of the month, glowing skin, bright eyes, no furry taste in your mouth, a stone lighter,  of course you may be wifeless and childless because you are so grumpy, but its a small price to pay!!!  Only another 29 days to go. Get some pure pomegranate juice.. It's called Pom Juice and get some Welch's Red Grape Juice mix it together in a wine glass. It's the right colour for red wine and tastes really good.  I often have this instead of a glass of wine and find myself really enjoying it..

Ah so, just like me, at the first mention of some 'How's Your Father', Mrs H whips out the garden shears from under the bed and glares at you menacingly whilst making 'chop-chop' motions with them?  Well done Mrs H, the sisterhood is proud of you.
