Boat Trip.

I find the boat trips to be very sociable and I spend very little time with my family and much of it talking to others, as do my family members!
There were three ladies travelling on their own on the last 12 Island trip I went on in May. A British lady, a Turkish lady and a Greek lady. They ended up having a right old chin wag. We could hear them hooting with laughter for most of the trip.

I went on a Calis boat trip yesterday where I only knew one of the people.
We all had a lovely day and planned a date to get together again next month.
The small boats make it so easy to get to know people as you all sit around the table together for lunch, impossible not to get involved in a natter.

You can just go down and ask if there's a space and book one on a day to suit.

We enjoy going on sugarsboat and have had many special days with jerryboat

Merhaba Highlander, we either rent a small speed boat from Olu Deniz or usually either Popeye or Olive oil, im a creature of habit and have done the later 4 to 6 times for the last 6 holidays! is there much difference in the trips from fethiye ?

Just avoid Tim's Tours on Calis Prom. The guy (sorry, forgotten his name, but its not Tim) 'talks the talk', but certainly doesn't deliver!  He took our money and didn't pick us up as arranged.  We did get the money back when I threatened to create a scene outside his selling pitch, but we had to pay for an expensive taxi ride to Fethiye to get on another boat trip before they all left for the day.

Hi all, have been a member for a couple of years, but don't usually post as a rule. My family and I have just returned fom Calis and spent three days on Jerry boat (De ja Vu). I must recommend this trip.
Having meant to have done this last time we were over, I can only wish we had. Free taxi pick up and drop off to Calis and Jerry is such a lovely man and so passionate about nature, the environment and fishing of course! My husband and son are keen fisherman and were able to catch all kinds of fish including a tuna which are all cooked for lunch. Jerry's wife is equally lovely and spends her morning in the gally kitchen cooking the most lovely of lunches with at least 15 or 16 salads, garlic bread not to mention stopping in one of the bays in the afternoon for her home made cake which is gorgeous. Plenty of swimming, snorkelling, fishing or generally lazing around on deck there are only 20 or so people and everyone I have met have been great. Can't wait for next year
