Our local Hotel in Scotland is charging £75.00 for Christmas Dinner and it's always booked up weeks in advance. Also, if people want to dress up for a Season Dinner, I am all for it.  I love to see people really well dressed, it's personal choice, anything goes so trousers and a smart top or an evening dress, what the heck, you only live once.... Me, I always dress down, so evening dress for me.  ;D  ;)
However, draw the line at topless men.  :o ;D

Like you i cannot be bothered driving in Turkey - so i bought a car.

Off topic I know,  we decided if we wanted a car we would hire one.. . .  so bought one Monday he he he.    And Rosie, it's always good to consider options, we do this a lot, and then maybe decide to do something completely different, or I do, just to keep Tony on his toes lol.  Sue xx

£75 at a favourite local hotel of ours too - it's also a golf course so I am sure it will have no problems selling. I love the food there but with kids being defined as under 12, I can think of many better ways to part with £300.

If you mean Murrayshall.  I see they are advertising lunch for £57.00 for Christmas.   I get emails from them because we used to stay there when I stood at the Antique Fairs at Scone Palace.
Yesterday I got an email advertising overnight stays and meals to give for Christmas gifts as a voucher which lasts  for 12 months.  I emailed them yesterday as we thought we would get one for my son and daughter in law.
Shows how keen they are, still no reply.   >:( >:(

I do, and it's £57 in the bar and £75 in the restaurant.
