We have been coming to Calis for ten years and always visit first end April/early May. It is a wonderful, somewhat quiet time, but the thrill is to walk down the promenade when we first arrive to see the entertainment on offer. It may be low key, but as a member previously said, look at the boards in the day and you can plan your whole week round the free entertainment on offer.
