Who knows Colwyn, its the obvious time for another block - but like everything in Turkey, what you expect to happen, when you expect it to happen and what actually happens are often all different.  So no predictions from me there.

Today, for the first time ever in human history, a nation googled "twitter" more than they googled "p0rn".

The fight against the Twitter ban is getting more and more intense since yesterday, as the government tries to block every breach and the people continue to find and share new ways to circumvent the censorship.

Since yesterday, many public DNS servers have been blocked nationwide, as well as the access to several VPN providers and IP addresses used by Twitter's web servers. New and more elaborate tactics are being discovered and shared every minute. So far, the people have managed to stay one step ahead, though it's getting more and more difficult for them to do so.

Anyone's VPN been blocked in Fethiye area?  Most are still open as far as I'm aware.

Mine is working too John - I'm not a Twitter user though and try to be careful what I post on Facebook too.

Twitter ban to be lifted soon! I wonder if it will be before or after the local elections or if it's because the shooting down of a Syrian plane is considered enough of a distraction to what is going on here.
