We have been a few times now and have enjoyed the food every time but the slow service really lets it down.

Sydney Opera House? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain?

With apologies to John Cleese.

Apologies indeed - just for interest's sake (and to calm this topic down a little  ;) ) - Many people quote this line from Fawlty Towers, the fact is that Basil Fawlty did not say that. He said something similar, but not that  :)

Funnily enough my wife and I were also in there last night. I had the liver as I have before and it was fine, service was a bit slow then again we were in no particular rush.

Having said that, I remember a certain person attributing 'The world is your lobster' to Fools and Horses   ;)

Anyway, what has this got to do with The Corner Pub & Restaurant ?
We used it several times in June - really good food for the price but atrociously slow service  :(
