Agree 100% Keith, I myself and another certain lady who has been on CBF a lot longer than me, who nearly left because of the personal jibes, will be pleased to see our forum is not turning into facebook, you will have noticed too the automatic likes to your post.    ;)   ;)

It is not the intention to become more like Facebook I can assure you Des. A lot of good info is shared on CBF (unlike FB) and we have been looking for a way that members can show appreciation for a tip, piece of info, joke etc without having to post.

I agree the thumbs down was a disaster - I got quite a few and you wonder what you have to do or how much of your life you have to give to stop people being such a negative, born to take and give nothing bunch of anonymous cyberbullying heroes. People who meet you in real life and wouldn't say boo to a goose. Although in truth doing that is largely pointless.

You can't like your own posts - hence no like button for you
Except for me. I apparently always like my own posts. I am being victimized. Victim is the role of DesM. The system clearly doesn't work.

My God it will show that the person who clicked it likes the post they clicked it in. It won't cost you anything, no info is extracted about you and sold to third parties and nobody will die. Dave you sound clinically paranoid, are you sure the internet is for you?

So if  20 members out of 100 members that made a reply or veiwed the post clicked the like button it would that mean the other 80 probably didn't like it maybe. I am getting to understand it now I think.
Whats a clincally paranoid person sound like  then.  :)
As for facebook it should be banned.

No it doesn't mean 80 didn't like it, it means that they didn't click 'Like'. Similar to when I like a programme on TV but don't write to the BBC to say so. To you I guess that means I didn't like it.

Just for you, here is a glass Dave, half empty.
