Lance, I'm always happy to educate you, the shape of fillet tenderloin when sliced resembles the shape of an eye and consequently is known as "eye fillet" in certain parts of the world. Obviously places you haven't been to hence you being unaware of the term.

Eye Fillet of Beef is also how the meal is described on the Mancero menu, so at least you'll know what it is should you come across it.

We love it there, (our first port of call for a bottle of Angora on usual late arrival), but really wish they would re-set their webcam. It must get hundreds of viewings daily plus my family/friends used to love seeing us there. Or I could plan to see my friends who live there when we are in UK. It's a great advert for them too. A fillet is a fillet ,right went to casa de  mamas last night ,first time prawn salad cold prawns good size the only thing that ruined it was there version of seafood sauce was I think yogurt wıth mint in it ,lasagne very good ,not as good as bella mamas still the best and most professional place in calis.
