Also very handy for reading your Victor and / or Rawhide annuals under the bedcovers after mum orders lights out!!

Yep, I re-located one from someone elses bike in 1959 and had a 1GBP fine in court, which ruined my chance of being in the RM Band.

When you look back, bike lights were crap in the day, they were like cheap torches, work great for a short while then go very dim or flicker. you could gaurantee the bateries would leak.

But due to complex technology, you could use them on very dim for weeks :D

Aah, the old carbide lamp, used to have some great fun with carbide !! I had one of the same model as Mr. Tickets !!
