The first of two Promises Auction taking place tonight will be the first one that I have missed for 5 years...Biting my nails on how it is going..There has been a lot of fund raising going on at the moment so I really hope that The 3CS still do well..... Such a lot of hard work goes into it every year.. I know that they are short of some of their usual helpers this year. Really really good luck guys... Xxxx

We are here just now and they are doing really well and raising a lot of money.   Lots going on, even a wedding down on the beach just near the Auction.

Was a fantastic evening, the generosity and atmosphere was outstanding as per usual.
George was indeed amazing, I honestly don't know how he's so fast with the patter, and so informative and funny too!
Not sure exact amounts, those on the money side are having a well earned day of rest today, but I'm sure we will all know soon.

Roll on next week for round 2 !!

Well done everyone for what we understand was a brilliant night, despite the noise from a neighbouring bar. A huge thanks to auctioneer George, the hardworking 3C's team and eveyone who supported the event. We are really sorry to have missed it.

We have a rough idea of the amount of money that will be raised from Part 1, once all the money is in, but will not publish this until is confirmed by the admin team.

Now its onwards and upwards for Part 2 which takes place next Wednesday. There are around another 90 promises up for grabs and there are some more to be added to the list over the next couple of days so please do keep looking, and don't forget we are still taking email commission bids for items featured in the second part of the auction right up until next Tuesday evening, 12 midnighr Turkish time, 10.00 pm UK time.

Have written a "strongly worded" e.mail to the owner who is/was a friend of mine Chrissie.. Let's hope he changes his attitude next week before his business goes completely down the pan!!!!  Well done guys.... We knew you could do it... Liz and Jan.... Great stuff girls.... Oops sorry that's not allowed in The UK now.. Good luck for next week George and crew.
