We have a new bakery\patisserie

And 5 new chicken shops ,3 in the road from police station to traffic lights on main road catching up with chemists.

  And not a KFC amongst them.

Ten years ago or more there were loads of places selling cooked chickens, one by one they gradually disappeared, so it's nice to see them making a comeback...

Its virtually opposite the Yapi Market DIY place, on the same side of the road as Cafe Pazar and The Pines.

Is that the place which had very nice patio and garden furniture last year?

No, its further up, closer to the Cafe Pazar

And very nice it is to,with new cakes an made up rolls.

Well I for one am very impressed with them. My friend and I went in on Monday to see if they had any cornbread but they didn't. The baker, however, came out and talked to us and we explained we were 'gluten-free' and he said he would do a few loaves to be ready on Wednesday. He called me today (a day early!) and said it was ready and WOW it is the best gluten-free bread I have ever had in Turkey. Highly recommend them. Quick, friendly and willing to please. Well done to them

Wishing them all the best in the new venture does anyone know if they are going to be staying open in the winter months?
Hurrah to the chicken shops as I love a spit roast chicken in Turkey I find them far more moist then the ones in Uk, but I don't always want to go to a supermarket like Kipa or Migros to buy one...

Been giving them a try for the last week or so. Very nice selection of speciality breads and rolls, well worth a visit...
