Let's be a bit objective here.
This is one mans personal opinion of what is realistically a holiday destination. The kind of destination that can be found in just about any European country.
If you want "traditional Turkey" then research for it. Likewise with Spain, Greece, etc etc etc. If you want shops, restaurants, bars, nightlife and neon then this also is easy to find and just as easy to avoid.
It must suit many thousands otherwise the hotels and apartments would be all but empty.
I dislike immensely when a personal opinion is banded about as what everyone will feel when they get there.
During our holiday our friends spent a day in Hisaronu and thoroughly enjoyed it. We all passed through it on the way to OluDeniz and Mrs Pops and I thought that it may not be our cup of tea. Despite this, I certainly wouldn't try to put anyone off going there.
Having said that, it seems that the adage that any publicity can be good publicity, coupled this kind of writing, may well actually "encourage" some holiday makers to consider Hisaronu as a destination.
Bit of a stuffed shirt if you ask me.
