What I cannot get my head around is that why establishments think that they will attract more customers by screwing up the volume.

As a Business Plan, given the "average" (yes a generalisation) Calis tourist, I would have thought it was fatally flawed.

" H " , do you really believe that " Business Plan ", & " Turkish ", should EVER appear in the same sentence ??

Agggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..........

OK substitute savvy for Business Plan.

Why do they assume that LOUD equates to a reason why people would want to frequent an establishment.

Well we have decided to have a bit of extra fun next week by taking part in our own quiz - take on Eddie Waring voice - mini mara..thon!! Monday night the General Quiz at Hazels in Hissy, Tuesday night The Morning Star in Ovacik, Thursday the AA quiz at Vojos Calis, Friday back to Hazels Bar in Hissy for the specialist music quiz...oh yes and Wednesday we are supporting Kim and co. at Beach Bar for their new quiz.  We would have fitted in Uzumlu, but something had to give, but perhaps the following week? Come on Team 'Frederick All'.

Used bustickets, you have forgotten the 3Cs  Friday afternoon fun quiz at 2.30 pm at Eyna if you can fit it into your very busy schedule. This quiz has been running for the last 2 years. With quizmasters Pete and Jan alternating each week, the quiz has a 40 question general knowledge round, a fun table top picture quiz and a music round. Great fun and a bottle of wine for the main quiz winners and smaller prizes for the music and picture quiz winners. Also great cake and coffee at the Eyna or real Yorkshire tea if you prefer.

I wish the Beach House great success with their new quiz. I have no axe to grind with the owners (in fact have no idea who they are). Could one of the questions be "Does you music throughout the season be a bit lower?" - maybe someone could just ask on behalf of the tiny minority who like Calis because it isn't like Falaraki  :)

No we had not forgotten the 3Cs fun quiz, but it is on the same time as Turkish lessons. So unfortunately once again something had to give... I am beginning to think this mini marathon could turn into a full marathon if We are not careful. Cue Eddie Waring voice "Well 'ere we are for the mini mara..thon, they've got some big lads, ready for the oop 'n under in the picture quiz, aaaaaah but they got some game lasses in the anagrams, and ehh a big team effort for the music questions.' I can see Eddie W now standing on the Calis Beach resplendent in his striped summer blazer ready for another edition of It's a knockout.

Totally agree and think it is a bit more than a tiny minority.   ;)
