So we have had a couple of days rain, and it looks like we might get some more in the days ahead.  However, late morning today the sun broke through, and the temperature rose to a balmy 23degrees...... LOVELY.  Just the tonic to cure any mid winter blues.  How's things back in the UK

Well, we're expecting a "WEATHER BOMB" so there.

A lot to be said for full central heating, no power cuts, no water cuts and guaranteed internet but miss the Winter days there when it is warm enough to sit out... Sigh!!

Well, I like it cold at Christmas, that is the way it should be.  It gives everything a really "Warm" feeling.

Just got back from a long weekend in Edinburgh. In contrast Bristol feels positively balmy. Tried an excellent range of Scottish beers up there; now back to a varied palate of West Country draughts. I suppose, USB, you still can't make up your mind between Efes or Tuborg.

We've been here for 6 weeks now and not had any heating on so far.
Sweatshirt needed over T-shirt in the evenings though.
Been in shorts since arrival - does it get much colder in Jan/Feb ?
