Hmmm…considering writing a blog - could be titled "buying the Dream". Collecting, collating and reading old emails would be a start, so I'm about to go to my old desktop to see what I can find. Might be fun.

I used to spend hours reading Colwyn's travel tales. Infact it is one of the main reasons that I became addicted to the forum. Unfortunatley I am not clever enough to wrte a blog of my days in Turkey although I have many tales and experiences.. It is a great idea this one. I think that I as many others are always interested in others experiences....

Could we have the travel tales back for us that loved them and those who weren't meembers before and therefore may have missed them?  I would enjoy reading the whole lot again.. It is a long Winter. !!

What would be your thinking, Scunner?
Would you set up a separate section on the forum so that there could be separate threads - were you thinking one for each member, holidays and ex-pat tales separate?
Or just one thread somewhere and one big melting pot of anything and everything?

I was thinking a new section, something like "Member's Blogs" where anyone who wants to start one starts their own new topic. Could be good and a lasting record to look back on. All suggestions considered of course.

I would love to do a blog but my life is not adventurous enough to be interesting, I don't have an interesting job ( in fact no job)  I spend a lot of time walking the dog, shopping, lunching with friends, and planning my next holiday.  I love reading the exciting things people on the forum do, and stories like Slik Mrs, Menthol etc with their adventures.

I'd mention that blogs don't need to be daily - you can just write when interesting things happen  :)

This thread is making me very depressed.

I have long suspected that I have lead a boring life and having thought long and hard about the subject(s) of "my" blog, I now know for certain that I have. :( :( :(
