Diggers
« on: April 07, 2015, 10:25:12 AM »
I don't even like football, let alone supporting Heart of Midlothian F.C., and the pub isn't actually called Diggers (it is the Athletic Arms - it has the nickname from the local grave diggers who used to drink there). But I am a big supporter of this Edinburgh pub which is a favourite of Hearts fans. Grand place.

I thought someone had started a new section for Aussies in Calis.  Turns out is is Colwyn modeling a new range of clothing :o : :) : :) :P.  I always admire the grey brigade taking to the catwalk, puts the young 'uns to shame, no size zero there  ;)

I wonder if Messrs Burke & Hare ever frequented this particular hostelry ? Uncertain of the age ,or history of said pub.

A suspicious looking man was discovered lurking in an Edinburgh pub but he evaded capture  - local police have lined up some suspects.

My money is on No.3 - a right shifty character if ever I saw one.....
