It would appear Dutchie from what you are saying that as long as the differentiated charging goes on no one is the winner, businesses, locals (Turkish and other) and of course the poor put upon tourist. I agree that many of the locals are having a hard time of it, as indeed the businesses, except perhaps for the rentier class. However, so are many of the tourists who come over here. Their holiday being their once in the year treat for the family, and they choose to spend it here in Turkey, or in particular this part of Turkey, and so people who make a living, directly or indirectly, from these people should shown them some respect, and the easiest way would be an rigidly enforced requirement for prices to be properly displayed, and wherever it occurs pricing must be in TL.
