Only time will tell, but I cannot help but wonder whether a couple of years in, the constituents of these newly elected M.Ps. (some of whom appear to be very inexperienced politicians) will still be celebrating the landslide.

On Sky news earlier they said Sturgeon has appealed to Cameron to grant her power over Taxation and Welfare as a matter of urgency.

Is she trying to anticipate the fallout when the truth sinks in.        She doesn't normally ask, she demands. !!

Sadler - an excellent point. The UK Parliament lost decent people - Danny Alexander, Douglas Alexander, Charles Kennedy and others

Is that the Danny Alexander who's party sought to abolish the position of Scottish secretary - and when offered that very position in a coalition government accepted it?

Not really my definition of 'decent'.
