Blindside, they do have A.C. as when we had the grand tour by the Manager (who we never saw again).  He showed us the A.C. up in the ceiling, however, it looked second hand to us.  The Manager assured us that once it was on, the whole place was lovely and cool.
Have to say, your post gave us a good laugh.  Did you find the other gym??   This is getting like episodes of a soap. Dying for hte next one   :)

Yes by the time time the episodes have finished, it will be the old gym, not the new one, HaHa,

Well I am getting fitter, just from the walking about I am doing.

Do not go to Elites Gym at 4pm on a Sunday. It is closed!

The nice man told me to come back tomorrow. You really couldn't make it up!

I managed to go to the Elite gym when it was open today. It cost me 10 Lira for the visit. It looks and feels brand new with all the equipment you would expect, good showers and AC.

Much better than the other one in my opinion (sorry Jacqui).

No problem.  We will give this one a try next month, prefer somewhere that has A.C.  Thanks for the information and thanks for the laughs along the way.

Hi,  we are due to come out to Calis next week for 5 weeks.  Where is the gym and do they do any classes such as circuits, spin etc?  Are there any running clubs in the area?  Any info gratefully received.

If you read this thread, you will see where the gym is.  As for running in the present temperatures it is all we can do to walk.    :)  ;D :o : :)
