Should have popped in for a drink.   I can recommend the home made lemonade and Phil likes the ginger ale.  Also the iced coffee is the best I have tasted.

At lunchtime we like to order a chicken salad and that amazing yoghurt with walnuts in it and a big basket of hot bread and we just share it...yummy   :)

What is your favourite in the evening Jacqui.

I am always embarrassed because I struggle to finish whatever I have ordered.

We also go for lunch and rarely in the evening. I agree H about ordering more than you eventually eat but I've worked out my own solution, so despite feeling greedy and wanting everything on the menu, I control myself and have just one main, my favourite is the chicken guvec, with a small plate of assorted chillies! That with the various accompaniments and basket if bread is still quite a lot and very deliciously filling! Anyway that works for me.  ;D

We now only visit at lunchtime H.   So. easy to eat a meal between us.  We like to eat dinner around 8.00pm and do not chance going in at that time, as you cannot book a tablle.  Last time we did this the place was full, with a one hour wait, so we went up to the Yacht Classic.
When we did go in the evening I used to order Chicken Shish with just half of the pepper bread. I think the answer is not to eat too much of the basket of bread as it is very filling.
However, we like lunchtime, not too many people and nice and cool in the shade and just the right time for their lovely home made drinks.  We sometimes are in Calis and decide to head over to the Bahce just to eat lunch.

Have to agree with Jacqui here   ;), we like to go at lunchtime too.  We order 2 or 3 (or 4!) of the small starter dishes and share them.  That plus the delicious bread and their homemade lemonade for me is a perfect lunch in a lovely setting.   :)

Can't remember what we ordered the first time we went there, but I can remember being so full I could barely walk.  Lessons were learnt after that!
