One of my neighbours said that it was probably the best night out he'd had in 12 years of coming to Calis, which is a fair compliment from someone, who until earlier in the day, wasn't fussed about going at all

Well the bucket was counted today and there was a record 1316 TL so we raised a magnificent  2,416 TL on the night. This means that Rod has achieved his wish and has raised 6,000 TL over the 3 nights - enough to pay for  a hearing implant for a profoundly deaf youngster. Thank you Rod you are a star in all ways. Also thanks to everyone who supported the three evenings at Lees.

Very well done and a big thanks to "Rod" and his wife.  We really enjoyed seeing them in June and look forward to seeing them again in September.

God forbid, although we are both blondes! I would rather look like my dog, but as I have not had one since my rough collies about 35 years ago, perhaps I look like my cat, who is a "big black boy". As I am neither big, black or a boy, I think not!
