PS UBT, what is yarim?
Half a standard turkish loaf stuffed with doner meat or doner chicken, plus salad and mayo/ketchup to taste plus to give it that extra buzz a dusting of chilli flakes and a few chillis... again to personal taste.  BTW the Gar Lokantasi serves meat doner and it is the best in town 7TL for the best giant sanwich in the world.  Best place for chicken doner yarim (3.5TL) is the place next to the patiseri which is opposite the bakers/police station on the Gunlabasi Road at the Uzumlu turn off x -road, but don't tell Frank canon or Mrs Canon at the Gunlis Restaurant that I said so!!

The other beauty of these two places is that because they are so popular there is a quick turnover of the meat.

Are there 2 Gar lokantasi's? Is the 1 you are talking about opposite the new shopping centre in Fethiye?

My son is 13 and will try anything, guess what! so will I so I don't mind if its from bowling to parascending! the more ideas the better (links are helpful) well you only live once hahahahaha!
The usual advice on this forum is that before you go to Turkey to try something exciting and adventurous it would be a good idea to check that your travel insurance covers you and your son for this.
