Used tonight 4.60 TL.  No problem, if you show them your regulars card you get an extra 5 TL.

I wonder sometimes about these reports. They are not from the person or people who the incident happened to, but from people who say they spoke to people, so rumours really.

We used it 3 times in July,  got a receipt  and counted the money before we left, and had good exchange rate .

I have used this change office many times, and to my knowledge have never been short changed, but I have posted this as information, not accusation.
One of the people is a friend of mine, he thought that something was wrong as it was being counted so he counted it again while someone else was being served and found it 100tl short, he challenged the man and was immediately given another 100tl. Later that day we met up with another friend who said that when he got home he found his 100tl short. As I said, best to check it before you leave the premises.

Good advise Buddy.  I told Phil about this and he did check when we changed money again.  Always worth checking wherever you change your money.  I remember once on CBF someone saying a Bank in Fethiye had short changed them.

For the record.

Have changed money twice so far both times at Zumrut.

First occasion, we were quoted 4.59 when advertised rate at Change Shop was 4.57.

Second occasion, same day that Jacqui changed at 4.60 (as advertised on the board) at the Change Shop we changed at Zumrut at 4.62 at Zumrut.

So a first time visitor to Calis would have been better off using the "illegal" outlet on both occasion.

Just saying  :)
