They live in the cracks under the houses. Seen them lots of times. I bet it came up through that gap in your path  :)

We have taken them out of the pool in the past.  The Gardener told us they were fresh water crabs which live in the small water channels around the houses. There are some cracks so perhaps they are down there.

That's dinner sorted then    ;)

I'd suggest steamed for 20mins or so and served up with a nice Beurre Blanc.

Too small, would need about 6 more, anyway how could I cook this when it looked at me with those sad eyes??

That's horrendous JohnF - It would be well overcooked! try 1 minute in boiling water, mmm . . .succulent, oh, and get the neighbour's in to share the feast   ;)
