Your New Years Eve Plans

We've just had an amazing 4 hours. Our kids and grandkids just bombed us as they knew we couldn't go out tonight. Eldest daughter, hubby and youngest granddaughter go back to LA tomorrow. 3 bottles of champagne, endless soft drinks for the kids and lots of 'dancing'  and hilarity! They've all just gone and it's now so silent - but we're both dazed with joy and what will become fabulous memories.

I've been thinking about family a lot this week.

Well, my quiet evening has taken a turn. My granddaughter, whose third baby was due on Boxing Day, has gone into labour! Still only going to be toasting it with a glass of Schloer though.

Baby girl, 9lb 14. Everything went smoothly. She was admitted at 2.30 pm. Very quick birth.

We now have 5 granddaughters, 4 grandsons and 3 great granddaughters. Blimey!!!
